A letter from our Founder & Executive Chairman, Meir Jakobsohn
Imagine this, two children, born on the same day are diagnosed with the same severe and rare illness. Despite the similarity, they will face very different odds of surviving just because of where they live in the world. Medison was created out of a patient-centric mission to save lives by bridging this life-threatening market access gap in international markets.
As third generation in the pharma industry, I deeply understand the nature of the pharma industry, the evolution it has undergone over the decades, as well as patterns and trends. These insights, together with my passion for medical innovation and desire to bring it to people who need it the most, are the key drivers that led me to found Medison in 1996 and grow it to become a global pharma company.
At Medison, we embrace the spirit of being ‘Always Ahead’. We carry out our mission to save lives of patients in international markets through our focused and continuous efforts to lead, innovate and keep moving forward. We act in concert across regions to reach more patients, in more countries and provide them with faster access to highly innovative therapies.
