The Medical Affairs Manager is a strategic member of the Medical Affairs team responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the Canadian Medical Strategy for assigned therapeutic areas and products. The role serves as a scientific leader and trusted strategic partner to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical activities that improve patient outcomes and support business objectives.
Working closely with the Country Medical Director, the Medical Affairs Manager, Rare Disease provides scientific leadership across the product lifecycle, including launch preparation, evidence generation, scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and lifecycle management. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to influence without authority and operate within a complex matrix environment.
The Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for ensuring that all activities are scientifically rigorous, compliant with applicable regulations and company policies, and aligned with the needs of patients, healthcare professionals, payers, and other key stakeholders.
Expected Base Pay Range (CAD): $ 150,000 to $ 180,000 per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
