The Treasury Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s credit card program. This includes handling credit card transactions, monitoring cardholder compliance, and ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of statements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in financial administration.
Responsibilities
- Program Management: Oversee the credit card program, including issuance, usage, and cancellation of cards.
- Transaction Processing: Review and process credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card statements with company records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure cardholders comply with company policies and procedures, including usage limits and expense reporting.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on credit card usage, expenditures, and compliance to management.
- Cardholder Support: Provide support to cardholders, addressing any issues or inquiries related to their credit cards.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in developing and updating credit card policies and procedures.
- New programs: Assist with creating new programs, including negotiation, approve credit lines a agreements with the credit card providers.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with credit card vendors to manage accounts and resolve issue
- Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits related to credit card transactions and records
- Other tasks in the Treasury team as needed
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial administration, accounting, or a similar role.
- Experience with credit card management systems (optional).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to credit card transactions (optional).
- Previous experience in a similar role within [industry/company type] is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
