Responsibilities
- Delivering key financial forecasting, along with insightful performance reporting and analysis, while engaging various stakeholders in the company
- Preparing detailed analysis, trends and KPI presentations for key stakeholders
- Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management regarding the Commercial P/L and each items (Revenues, Gross Margin, Opex, Capex).
- Become point of reference for commercial team for the usage of Financial tools (BI, BPM Anaplan etc)
- Support globally commercial teams with cross geographical activities (Accruals, Bonus process etc) that benefit of increase in efficiency through centralization.
- Be the point of reference for financial modeling, providing templates and financial models to the rest of commercial team and to the final stakeholders (country managers and functional leads globally) to enable FP&A processes
- Unify and homogenize the approach to standard and common process for the various regions (opex tracking, revenue forecasting tool, Business case templates etc)
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual and forecasted Opex.
- Become point of reference for P2P process details (PO approvals, support to Business assistants for PO creation in special cases, invoice bookings, opex classification) providing directives and incorporating the new guidance in the Medison “budget book”.
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics and Business performance management platforms.
Requirements
- STEM disciplines, B.A in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Accounting or Business administration (MBA is an advantage)
- Proven experience (max 5 years) as an Analyst or similar role with a focus on modelling and planning in a global company.
- Experience with ERP systems and BPM (Anaplan) is a plus.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision
- Storytelling and presentation abilities (including building financial slides), and collaboration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to successfully maintain professional and trusting relationships and to work effectively with people at all levels in the organization, including C level.
- Works effectively in highly dynamic and changing environments.
- Strong and deep knowledge in Financial modelling
- Displays agility.
- Anaplan, NetSuite knowledge - an advantage
- Experience in BI tools- an advantage
- Excellent MS office capabilities (Excel and PowerPoint) with advanced skills (VBA programming an advantage)
