About The Position
The ERP Specilaist will lead NetSuite implementation and act as a liaison ERP expert to international accounting partners, being a focal point for professional accounting and bookkeeping questions. The successful candidate will translate finance requirements into workable NetSuite business solutions, develop and mentor international accounting partners regarding their bookkeeping accuracy and allocations, including planning, assigning, directing work, and providing constructive feedback to staff; addressing ERP issues and resolving problem. The ERP Specialist will ensure completion of tasks, milestones, components to maintain project progression, manage the monthly close process and ensure proper reconciliation of Medison's global subsidiaries general ledger accounts and integrity of the financial statements. They will manage intercompany transactions between Corporate and international entities and ensure proper consolidation and eliminations of these transactions. The successful candidate will maintain compliance with internal controls; refine policies and procedures, with continuous focus on ERP process improvement and accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monthly trial balance close for the Medison global subsidiaries, including but not limited to bank and credit card reconciliations, posting of journal entries, fixed asset register management, month-end accruals and reconciliations, and cut-off accounts. Responsibilities will also include process Travel & expenses reports and maintain approval flow; assisting and support in the year-end audit process; assistance in improving, developing, and documenting accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; and ad hoc accounting and bookkeeping projects as needed.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping, experience in a global company and multi-currency environment. They will be a specialist in ERP systems. NetSuite experience is essential. The successful candidate will be a Certified Bookkeeper to Level 2 or 3. Experience working in a public company experience is an advantage. Fluent English is essential for this role.
