Market Access Manager
About The Position

In your role as Market Access Manager, you will be work with the Senior Manager, Market Access to lead, develop and execute the market access strategies for the Canadian portfolio of Medison products.
Medison Pharma is based in Toronto and offers a hybrid work arrangement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Partner on the development of market access strategies for the Medison portfolio of products
- Lead strategic review of submission documents as part of HTA, provincial, national, or third-party payer submissions in consultation with cross-functional partners and partner organizations
- Prepare landscape assessments and monitor reimbursement decisions for key products and therapeutic areas of interest to Medison
- Lead Assist in the creation of product-specific access materials to support payer meetings; facilitate meeting coordination and payer engagements
- Manage RFP reviews, vendor selection and contracting process as needed
- Respond to requests from Medison partner organizations and Medison Global
- Apply understanding of competitive and access landscape gained through cross-functional partnering
- Lead local projects to generate evidence to fill gaps in order to optimize the reimbursement of products
- Review and assess impact of changes to PMPRB regulations
- Complete PMPRB reporting and aid in resolving investigations
- Collect, analyze and report on pricing and utilization data
- Provide strategic and analytic support for pCPA negotiations
- Plan for expected Product Listing Agreements (PLAs) and timelines associated with all provinces following pCPA negotiations
- Manage PLA database; monitor PLA payments and validate invoices received from drug plans prior to payment
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Science or Business Administration
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
- At least 3-5 years experience working within Market Access
- Thorough knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement landscape
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of comfort working in areas which may not be clearly defined
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities through superior organizational skills
- Comfortable pivoting between a broad range of responsibilities and taking on additional responsibilities beyond the scope of the role
- Professional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Deliver results using a collaborative, professional and inclusive approach
- Patient first mentality

- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
